Write for us
Eastern Fashion Review welcomes clear, original pitches about clothing construction, fabric, fit, care and fashion history. Proposals should leave readers with a sharper way to understand a garment or design choice.
What to pitch
Send a focused idea with a working title, a short account of the central point and a note on what a reader will understand afterward. We welcome explainers, comparisons, object-focused history and carefully bounded answers to common clothing questions.
What makes a strong proposal
Choose one subject that can be handled in one piece. Name the specific detail, question or comparison at its centre, explain why it has lasting interest and note the kinds of sources or expertise the piece would need. Avoid unsupported trend claims, product promotion disguised as editorial and advice that depends on a reader's body or circumstances.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and select the editorial option. A proposal is not a commission; wait for an editorial reply before sending a full draft. Do not include confidential, private or copyrighted material you do not have permission to share.
Look closely before you label a look
Clothing is designed from many small decisions. We examine those decisions in plain language so readers can form their own view.
